Funicular

This photo was taken at the upper station of the Kiev Funicular, a cable railway linking two areas of Kiev; Podil and the Uppertown. It’s cheap to ride and offers a quick way to travel up the steep Volodymyrska Hill.

Model Ekaterina was photographed with a Sony A7RII camera with a Sony FE 16 – 35 F4 ZA OSS lens. Off-camera flash was used; a Godox AD200 with a Godox AD-S7 soft box and diffuser attached.

Adjustments were made in Lightroom (highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, and vibrance). Skin was retouched in Photoshop using frequency separation.

As a final touch, a Fuji Pro 160S film emulation preset was applied in Exposure X2.
