Orrest Head is a hill in the English Lake District, just north of Windermere town centre.
The summit stands at 784 feet above sea level and offers good views of Windermere (lake), many of the Lake District fells, the Pennines, and Morecambe Bay.
It was Alfred Wainwright’s first ascent in the Lake District.
